Silence

Since i have come to Dubai my phone has become completely dormant. No phone calls, no sms... it has become totally inactive. The only phone call i get is from my husband to let me know about his whereabouts. Missed calls from home so that i come online to talk to them.... Otherwise there is no use of my phone..

There were times when my phone was full time engaged. :) Those were times when i was in college and at work. Evenings were totally dedicated for phone calls. How much i used to be scolded by my mother. :) Hours of gabbing because of CUG. Missed calls to say "Miss U... " during holidays after exams.... or simply to irritate...:)

All gossips and revisiting what happened during the day or giving updates of what happened at college....along with dad's scolding "Wrong use of graham bell's invention... Phone is for passing on important information and not for spending time..."

How much revision has been done during exam times. Important portions, important questions, even lectures... Calls at inhuman hours to friends before the exam day.

Non stop rubbish just to keep me awake in the cab when i used to leave late from office...

How can i forget about birthdays... phone starts ringing right at 12 continuously... and it continues through out the day.

Now.... at times i forget to check whether there is charge in my phone or not... :(((((((( Absolutely no junk sms.... :) How much i used to get angry when i get the same repeated sms n number of times; but now i feel there was a kinda closeness which always puts the senders face in front of your mind...

how we used to send long stories in sms as calls were charged and smses were free... :)

நான் தமிழில் எழுதி பல நாட்கள் ஆகின்றது. இன்று போஸ்ட் செய்யும் போது தமிழிலும் போஸ்ட் செய்ய முடியும் என்று அறிந்து மகிழ்ந்தேன். பல நாட்கள் கழித்து தமிழில் எழுதுகிறேன். மிகவும் சந்தோஷமாக இருக்கிறது. பல தடவை நான் தமிழில் எழுதுவதையே மறந்துவிடுவேன் என்று நினைத்தேன். ஆனால் இன்று தமிழில் எழுதியது மிகவும் மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருக்கின்றது.

Man i want a changeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! Life sucks as its become a little monotonous.
